Oh man, I saw all the Essence polishes and forced myself not to look but now I might have to go back.
So. Many. Pretties! I had to stop myself from petting all the products. XD I only bought three of the new $.99 ones. Absolutely Blue, Time For Romance, and Make It Golden. I was tempted to buy the rainbow glitter one since it was only $2, but I had to stop myself. I did buy their star burst magnet to try out on my Layla’s since those only come with a straight line magnet.
If anyone is looking for magnetic nail polish, Fred Meyer's has some for $5.
I cannot for the life of me remember what the brand is called, but there is a stand of about 6/7 different colors of magnetic polishes for $5 each and I think there were only two kinds of magnets to choose from for each color, straight lines and a starburst. I might go back sometime this week, or the nest and get the purple one and possibly swatch it for people.
The Fred’s off of Broadway has a bucket of Layla magnetic nail polish on clearance for $4, originally $16(!!!!). I just bought Black Metal, Golden Bronze, and Metallic Sky. There were 3 other colors there as well. AND Fred’s also has new Essence nail polish, including new cremes, shimmers and glitters in their To Go collection, their magnetic polishes, crackles, and other special top coats, including their soft/matte top coat.
After seeing the Mother Jones posting that links to Glen Beck calling him “the aggressor” (among other things I can’t bare to type right now) I had this thought… If Trayvon were a little white girl, we’d have Trayvon’s Law by now. By now. Three weeks later. True story. At least some legislature….
I hope Rick Santorum realizes he’s been using a really common word incorrectly for a very long time and in front of millions of people and feels extremely embarrassed when he learns that “freedom” does not mean what he thought it meant.
Hoooow on earth did you do those amazing hunger games flame nails?
I first painted all my nails black. For the glitter flames I just used a striper brush, mine came in a pack from Sally’s Beauty Supply. I just drew wavy lines from the nail tip in a flame like fashion and went in with black to fix any mistakes. For the crackle flames, I did a couple chopping strokes half way up the nail to the nail tip with the gold crackle, then went over the top of the gold with the red crackle. When it dried, I went in with some black and created the flame tips. I hoped that helped. :)
