Rite Aid recently held a nail art contest with the grand prize of $1000 and the chance to blog nail art tips and tricks, so of course I had to submit something. After multiple nail fails, I found this Missoni, Aztec graphic pattern online that screamed at me to translate it onto nails. It probably took me about 3 hours total to paint both hands.

*Tip to get thin lines, don’t use acetone when the polish you’re working with gets tacky, use a small drop of nail polish thinner and mix.

*And no, I wasn’t a finalist.
