Just a quick little mani I did a couple of weeks months ago. I’ve just been too lazy to post them. Oops. I was cleaning my room at the time, hence the tip wear. It isn’t all that noticeable in person thou, same with the stain on my middle finger. This is the first time I’m using FuchsiaRama, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out it’s a jelly! (I’m pretty sure it’s a dupe of Zoya’s Gloss in Paloma.)I have ideas formulating already. If you don’t already own China Glaze’s I’m Not Lion, get it now. I’m Not Lion and I Herd That are absolutely gorgeous.

More old manis to fill in for the lack of recent manis! Yay….
This post has been sitting in my draft folder for months. Whoops. When I did this mani, I was planning on doing a freehanded print, but it didn’t go well… at all. So instead, stamping! My right ring nail broke while I was removing the fail manicure so I had to file all my nails down. Ugh.
This manicure started off as just stamped accents. Then the next day I added some flakies and then later on that night I stamped the rest of the nails. Seaweed stamped pretty well for being a 2.5 coater polish. I’m impressed.

This weeks mani is more swatch than design. I bought a crap ton of polishes between Saturday and Tuesday, and I’m wearing two of them. I caved into the snowman polishes you can find at Rite Aid and I think Walgreens. I bought 4 glitters and they are adorable! Sadly they smell horrible! Like, spray paint horrible. But they’re adorable, so whatever. I found Rock-It at Marshall’s for a whopping $4. Fuck yeah! I wish it was more true to the bottle, but it’s still stunning. You can slightly tell in the swatch picture that the duochrome is present, just at certain angles and lighting. My camera just didn’t want to cooperate and catch it.

Bundle Monster is having a nail art contest with the theme of ‘Fright Night’. So of course I submitted something (shocker). The rules were to use stamping somewhere in the design, but I didn’t want it to necessarily be the focal point. I wanted to do something a bit different and a bit more fun. Let’s freehand Otis B. Driftwood! I mean, what’s more frightening than Otis B. Driftwood?

Peanut butter jelly time! Okay, not really. It’s only jelly time. First jelly sandwich! I’m so happy I found Orly’s Mermaid Tale on clearance at Sally’s last week. It’s was $3! A third of what it’s normally priced. Holla! I love the swampy feel of Mermaid Tale and OPI’s Here Today… Aragon Tomorrow. Which lead me to pairing this combo with my own franken I made a few months back called Swamp Thang. In love. Swamp Thang was gradiated on my non-accent nails. I used a cotton round soaked in nail polish remover to gently remove some of the stamp to add a fading effect.

Escuse the gnarly cuticles and the slight nail growth going on. The pictures I took on Wednesday weren’t great, so I had to retake them 5 minutes ago. After my Shark Week nails last week, I wanted to be lazy and not free hand my next mani. That and I was supposed to go swimming on Thursday and I didn’t want anything fancy just in case the polish peeled off. Thanks a lot, Dishman, for deciding to start your yearly two week check up the week my friends and I wanted to go swimming. Thanks. So yeah.

I’m back! Like anyone cares anyways. I was going to do some Avenger nails last week, but it was not working out, plus my left thumb nail broke so I had to chop them down to nubs. Anyways, I’ve just been too lazy and uninspired to do anything fancy in the past week+, which is why I haven’t posted anything nail related outside of my Bundle Monster entry (voting ends tomorrow, please vote.
