And the final mani of the day. Splatter time, pumpkin remix. I was tempted to repaint my ring finger orange and then take pieces of Icing’s Black Shredded to create a pumpkin face. Obviously I didn’t do that since I’m too lazy. I think adding a metallic polish is going to become my thing. I really love the added pop it gives to the look.

Vacation, here I come! Today, I’m leaving for vacation for the next three weeks, which means the only thing I’m going to have on my nails, outside of these, will be my base coat and crackle/shatter polish. There’s no way I’m going to waste my luggage space and precious time in the UK painting my nails. Don’t fret, I have a queue of nails, including a little Avatar: The Last Airbender elements spam, just waiting to post starting on Tuesday.

Did you really think I was not going to do something for tonight’s Dark Knight Rises’ premiere? I didn’t have a whole lot of time to work on my nails for the movie, so I went with a minimalist look. I found this awesome print by Christopher Conner on etsy and I just had to attempt to recreate it on my nails.

Rainbow Brite.
In typical neon fashion, these are a lot brighter in person than in the pictures. For the zig zags, I used a pair of my Mom’s scrapbook scissors with a zig zag blade. It helps to use blue painters tape when using those kinds of scissors because they are thicker and won’t tear when you’re trying to cut a thin piece.
