The warmer the weather, the more I want to water marble. It’s a pain in the butt to water marble when it’s cold outside, because my room is always cold and water marbling doesn’t work in cold rooms.

Nothing like busting out some Connemara marble for St. Patrick’s day!
Connemara marble is so beautiful that I couldn’t not recreate it on my nails. I used pieces of scrunched up plastic wrap to marble the greens for my base. LOVE. I added the shamrock moons to make it a bit more adorable.
Fun Fact- When the fam was in Dublin this past summer, we stubbled upon Stephen Walsh’s Connemara Marble shop. Too bad he was in CANADA and my mom wasn’t able to meet him.

The one collection I’ve been dying to get my chubby grubby hands on, I managed to find at a nail salon for $5 a bottles. Thank Odin for unaware nail salons. I saved myself a good $6 a bottle when I hit that jackpot. Hit the read more for my mini review.

Don’t you just love it when a nail salon puts a $10-$14 a bottle collection in their $5 bucket? Because I sure as fuck do. Just bought 11 of the 12 China Glaze Hologlams for $45. The salon even gave me $10 off. If I bought them at Sally’s, with no coupons, I would have spent $110 on 11 bottles. I saved $65.

I really wish I had better control with my left hand when it comes to nail art. My poor Darth nails didn’t come out as well as my Pardee nails. I was hoping to paint his full face on my middle nail, but that just wasn’t happening….. at all. I didn’t hate them as much now then before I added in the highlighting and top coat. Still, they could have been better.

I’m SUPAH excited to meet Ray Park and Alex Pardee. Legit. I loooooooooooove me some Alex Pardee. His artwork is creepy awesome and “Goodnight Lava” is one of my favorite pieces he’s done. I’m hoping to be able to pick a print of it at his booth today.

When I saw the press release for China Glaze’s Avant Garden a few weeks back, I wasn’t all that impressed. There were a few stand outs, but not many. Let’s just say I was wrong. I was very pleased when I saw the polishes in person and I’m quite happy with my purchase. The moment I opened my nail mail, I knew Fancy Pants had to be on my nails. Hands down a winner in this collection. The shimmer is simply gorgeous. My picture makes it look for faded and more of a periwinkle purple than it actually is. It’s intense and more of a purple blurple, if you get what I’m saying. Vampy Varnish’s swatch is more accurate. Tart-y For The Party is also not as faded and light. It’s a richer lavender in person. I definitely can’t wait to play with the rest of the collection.
