It isn’t all that noticeable in person thou, same with the stain on my middle finger. This is the first time I’m using FuchsiaRama, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out it’s a jelly! (I’m pretty sure it’s a dupe of Zoya’s Gloss in Paloma.)I have ideas formulating already. If you don’t already own China Glaze’s I’m Not Lion, get it now. I’m Not Lion and I Herd That are absolutely gorgeous.

If anyone was looking for China Glaze’s Electrify from the Hunger Games, Sinful Colors has a new polish out called Pumpkin Spice that’s a dupe. I bought the last one at the Walgreens near me (33rd and Killingsworth). Even if you already have Electrify, like myself, there’s no harm in buying a cheep back up.

It’s Katy’s, aka Nailed It, blog birthday and to celebrate it, she’s holding a nail art contest. And shocker, I’m submitting something. The rules were to only use two bottles of nail polish, no decals, no stamps, no loose glitter, no rhinestones. BUT you can use glitter nail polish, which definitely sent my mind straight to mosaics. I used the mosaic pictured above, found here, as my inspiration. I tried to recreate the full mosaic on my middle finger, but it was just not working…. at all.

I’m too lazy to make a real light box. That’s how I roll. But, hey, I can now take pictures in my room at night instead of using the overhead light in the bathroom. It’ll work wonderfully in the coming weeks when the sun decides to play hide and seek with us Portlanders.

When I was coming up with this mani, I had a horrible time. I mean, what does one do to represent Earthbending? The only idea that came to me was recreating the layers of the Earth’s crust. To be honest, I don’t love them, but I definitely don’t hate them. They kind of have an ugly pretty quality to them.
